DREAMPLAY CONCERT (Glenn Buhr, concert series Artistic Director) co-curated by Jim Hiscott, including a mix of various traditional musics played by Chris Anstey, violin; Jim Hiscott, button accordion; Glenn Buhr, piano; Gilles Fournier, double bass; and Daniel Roy, percussion and mandolin. The concert also featured music by Jim Hiscott, including QUATRAIN I (new arrangement for violin and button accordion), NORTHERN POLKA and excerpts from SPIRIT REEL, all for violin and button accordion and played by Chris Anstey and Jim Hiscott. May 22, in the Winnipeg Art Gallery Main Hall.
